On a Wisconsin Family Farm

This narrative nonfiction collection of 31 short stories takes the reader back in time to the turn of the 20th century as a cast of characters builds farm life in pioneer America. Read about how Wisconsin became “America’s Dairyland,” a family farm was passed through generations of women, and rural communities grew out of the people that settled there. The 77 restored photographs illustrate the people and places of the day.
